About the Role
We’re seeking a sharp, analytical Business Analyst to join our Strategy team with a focus on the technology landscape in the MENA region. In this role, you’ll generate high-impact reports and strategic insights that inform decision-making across our organization and clients, covering emerging tech trends, market dynamics, and growth opportunities across the Middle East and North Africa.
What You’ll Do
- Produce in-depth research reports on the MENA tech ecosystem
- Analyze market trends, competitive landscapes, and investment flows in the region
- Generate data-driven insights to support strategic planning and business development
- Monitor emerging technologies and their adoption across MENA markets
- Gather and synthesize information from diverse sources into actionable recommendations
- Create compelling presentations and executive summaries for stakeholders
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate insights into strategic initiatives
- Build and maintain databases tracking key players, deals, and metrics in the region
Requirements
Must Have
- 3+ years of experience in business analysis, market research, or strategy consulting
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Experience producing written reports and strategic recommendations
- Proficiency in data analysis and visualization tools (Excel, SQL, Tableau, or similar)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
- Familiarity with the technology industry and startup ecosystems
- Ability to synthesize complex information into clear, actionable insights
- Self-motivated with strong time management skills
Nice to Have
- Knowledge of the MENA tech ecosystem and regional market dynamics
- Arabic language proficiency
- Experience in venture capital, investment banking, or tech consulting
- Background in economics, finance, or quantitative fields
- Experience with CRM and intelligence platforms (PitchBook, Crunchbase, etc.)
- Published research or industry reports
- Network within the MENA tech and investment community
